Developer Cygames has revealed some new looks at the future of Granblue Fantasy at its GBF Fes ’22-23 event, including a brand-new trailer for the long-awaited action RPG, Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
First announced all the way back in 2016, the game went somewhat dark for some time before re-emerging recently, and now thanks to the gorgeous promo trailer we have confirmation that it’s finally slated to release this year. Originally a collaboration between Cygames and the venerable PlatinumGames, the project is now being worked on entirely by Cygames and looks to be coming along nicely if the below trailer is any indication:
Granblue Fantasy: Relink will be coming to PS5, PS4 and PC when it arrives this year.
Also announced at the event was Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, the sequel to the respected fighting game from Cygames and Arc System Works. Rising will feature new characters, mechanics and modes as well as the introduction of crossplay and rollback netcode to the game.
