Gran Turismo 7’s 1.31 Update Is Out Today And Adds 120Hz VRR Support On PS5

More than a gran-ular update.

Gran Turismo 7’s latest update is out today, bringing the game up to Version 1.31 and adding a smattering of new content as well as support for up to 120fps on PlayStation 5.

Announced via the PlayStation Blog, the update includes five new cars, two new track layouts to Nurburgring, and new cherry blossom-themed content for the Scapes mode on top of adding an unlocked framerate option for displays supporting 120Hz VRR. A most recent 1.29 update for the game added a massive new feature in support for the PlayStation VR2, but 120Hz VRR is sure to be just as exciting to a portion of players, giving those playing on HDMI 2.1-compatible screens access to an unlocked framerate with no screen tearing.
