A New Persona 5 Tactica Gameplay Trailer Has Dropped That Highlights Newcomer Erina

A bold strategy.

After the game’s existence was finally confirmed during last month’s Xbox Games Showcase, fans have been clamouring for more on Persona 5 Tactica, the brand-new spinoff of the Persona franchise’s most recent (and arguably most popular) mainline entry.

Persona 5 Tactica is a brand-new title that sees the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 band together once again for an all-new adventure in a mysterious and bizarre realm locked in battle between tyrants and revolutionaries. Instead of the usual Persona format, this one’s a tactical RPG featuring chibi-fied versions of Persona 5’s cast of characters. A new trailer for the game has just been published by Atlus that explains a bit more about how it all works and also spotlights a brand-new playable character in the form of Erina.

The trailer goes over some of the unique skills and weapons wielded by the game’s characters like Joker, Morgana and of course Erina. Her weapons in the game will be able to target multiple enemies and dish out high amounts of damage and her “voltage” ability Flag of Freedom plants a flag in the ground that makes nearby enemies more vulnerable while healing allies.

All up, it’s looking like a very robust tactics RPG experience and a treat for Persona 5 fans.
