Assassin’s Creed Mirage Finally Has A Release Date For iPhone 15 And iPad

Your eyes don't deceive you!

After a bit of a wait, Ubisoft has finally announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s iOS port will be launching on June 6th, 2024, giving owners of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro (with M1 chip or later) the chance to play last year’s big entry on their devices.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the first console title of the series for players to enjoy natively on mobile devices, and has been translated to the devices by Ubisoft Sofia to feature the same experience as the console version. Naturally, the game’s controls have also been adapted to touch screens, and will presumably also be compatible with hardware controllers and attachments. Cross-progression and cross-save are also available through Ubisoft Connect, so you can pick up your progress from the console/PC versions of the game.

You can find the game on the App store for pre-order here.

We gave Assassin’s Creed Mirage a healthy 8/10 in our review last year, with James saying, “Assassin’s Creed Mirage makes great effort to simplify the Assassin’s Creed formula back to what it was when it first found popularity. The solid stealth mechanics lend themselves well to creating satisfying infiltrations and the open-ended assassinations are some of the series most engaging contracts. It’s just a shame that in scaling so much back, the optional content is lacking and the story ultimately goes nowhere. Still, if you’re here for an experience akin to the original Assassin’s Creed, you’ll find little wrong with Mirage. It’s an endearing callback to what made us fall in love with the franchise over a decade ago, for better or for worse.”
