Alan Wake 2 Will Feature Live Action Footage Seamlessly Woven Into The Game

Wake up, Alan!

Remedy’s Sam Lake took to the stage during this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 showcase to debut a brand-new trailer for the upcoming and highly-anticipated Alan Wake II.

Along with giving us our first real look at gameplay involving Alan himself, the trailer also gives us glimpses into The Dark Place, an alternate, nightmare-like reality that is borne of Alan’s mind and where players will see live action footage “seamlessly” integrated into gameplay.

It all looks very dark, spooky and very Remedy which is all we can really ask for. Alan Wake II just had its release date slightly delayed to October 27th, but that’s only a 10 day difference and still has it just a couple of short months away.
