In case you were wondering just how much space you’ll need to have cleared on your PlayStation 5’s SSD storage ahead of the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 this October 20th, the recent landing of the limited edition Spider-Man 2 PS5 console bundle has shed some light on the game’s install size.
As noted by users who’ve received their consoles already – the bundle itself officially releases tomorrow – the back of the box for the console states that those redeeming the code inside for the full Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game (which naturally doesn’t unlock until the game’s release date) will need a minimum of 98GB of storage to download and play.
As noted by Insider Gaming, that’s a bit of a jump up from the install sizes of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5, which use up 54GB and 71GB of storage, respectively. Compared to some other AAA PS5 games though, even other PlayStation Studios titles, it’s definitely not as bad as it could have been.
