Along with revealing the new trio of games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in February 2024, PlayStation also announced something new for those on the Deluxe tier.
Starting on February 6th, the same day as the Essential games drop, a Game Trial for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will also become available. The trial will allow anyone who’s somehow committed enough to be subscribed to PlayStation Plus Deluxe but not already played Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to sample up to two hours of the game.
Since these Game Trials are based on downloads of the full games, trophies and progress from the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Game Trial will carry over should you decide to make the purchase once it’s over, and you won’t need to re-download or update anything to keep going.
