As reported earlier this morning, the DualSense Edge (both the new black version and the original white) will get a price drop and it’s extending to Australia. We now have confirmation of what the new, slightly cheaper price will be down under.
The DualSense Edge wireless controller will retail at $329.95 AUD. They currently retail for about $339.95 so it’s only a slight reduction of $10 but considering most things have been going up in price as of late, it’s still pleasing to see.
That will make the two available DualSense Edge wireless controller priced as such:
- DualSense Edge Wireless Controller Midnight Black: $329.95 AUD RRP
- DualSense Edge Wireless Controller White: $329.95 AUD RRP
The updated prices don’t at the time of writing appear to have been reflected on the websites of Australian retailers.
As a reminder, the DualSense Edge is the updated pro version of the standard DualSense PlayStation controller with replaceable customisable analog sticks, rear back paddles, adaptable triggers and custom profiles. I recently picked one up (whoops) and love its flexibility; having customisable back paddles is super helpful.
The black DualSense Edge was announced this morning alongside a Midnight Black version of the PlayStation Portal and Pulse Explore earbuds.
