Following on from the announcement that the PS5 Slim Digital and Disc editions both went up in price ($70 and $30 respectively) in Australia, PlayStation also announced that the PS5 Disc Drive has also had a decent price drop of $35.
The PS5 Disc Drive will now be able to be purchased for $124.95 down from $159.95 which is great news for PS5 Pro owners more than anyone, as that console didn’t go up in price, so you’re now able to get a PS5 Pro and a Disc Drive for cheaper.

At the time of writing, no Australian retailer has changed the price of the PS5 consoles or PS5 disc drive, but we’d expect for it to happen at some point in the next day or so.
