PlayStation has announced that a State of Play is happening this week and it’ll be focusing on the upcoming James Bond game 007 First Light. It’s not personally what I thought we’d be getting from this game this soon, but I’m incredibly excited.
The State of Play will last 30 minutes and feature 30 minutes of gameplay showcasing a playthrough of Bond’s first mission as an MI6 recruit. The action includes everything from high-speed car chases to on-foot stealth sequences and shootouts.

The 007 First Light State of Play will be taking place on Thursday, September 4th at the below times:
- 04:00am AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
- 03:30am ACST (Adelaide, Darwin)
- 02:00am AWST (Perth)
- 06:00 NZST (Wellington)
