NortonLifeLock has announced Game Optimiser (or GO) as apart of the Norton 360 for Gamers product. The Game Optimiser feature stops power-hungry programs from running in the background, moving them to a single CPU core to ensure that your games can take advantage of as many cores as necessary to ensure smooth performance.
The Norton 360 for Gamers subscription currently available for purchase from the JB Hi-Fi website or you can also grab it from the Norton website (there’s currently a decent discount of about $60 off for the year on the official website).
In addition to the Game Optimiser feature, there’s also a new Dark Web Monitoring feature which will analyse your gamer tags, usernames, email addresses and other information across the internet and let you know if they appear anywhere that they shouldn’t.
Obviously all the standard Norton goodness including antivirus software, a password manager, VPN etc are all included in the subscription as well.
