Rode has announced the brand new RODECaster Pro II, which is the new version of its very powerful soundboard that is perfect for game streamers, musicians, podcasters or practically any kind of audio production. It follows in the footsteps of the original that launched in 2018 and it’s set to release in June and will set you back an RRP of $1,199 (you can grab one here).
The new RODECaster Pro II has a 5.5″ raised touchscreen with haptic feedback, and as far as connectivity goes, there’s dual USB-C out ports for connecting two computers or mobile devices, four XLR ports, nine individually assigned channels, Bluetooth connectivity for audio streaming or getting your phone calls plugged into the unit, and powerful onboard effects such as reverb, echo, robot and more.
Just with the original version, there’s eight smart pads that can be programmed to do just about anything. These can be programmed to house 64 unique actions.
