There’s a major Telstra outage this morning that is causing issues Australia wide.
There’s an issue affecting mobile calls, data connections that then extends to the likes of train system and eftpos machines with payments and train services unable to run. It also extends further with the likes of emergency services having issues with ambulances and fire trucks.
A Telstra spokesperson had the below to say:
“We’re looking into an issue affecting some mobile calls and data connections. If you’re having trouble connecting, try again as it may work on a retry. We’re on it and will share an update as soon as it’s fixed. Thanks for sticking with us.”
Down Detector shows 7000+ reports as of 7am this morning, but this looks to be slowing so hopefully the network is being restored.
