As an Xbox owner, its hard to not be excited about Gears of War 4. The original game was one of the finest exclusives for Xbox 360, and Epic Games went on to build an iconic series.
The latest trailer not only provides a solid dose of Gears of War nostalgia, but it also shows off a new robotic enemy race in the game called DeeBees. Past players will also be familiar with the angry bearded guy – that’s Marcus Fenix, and he’s particularly displeased at his tomatoes being ruined.
While its great to see Marcus back in action, the games story actually follows his son, JD Fenix, as he deals with a new threat to humanity’s survival. Thankfully, there is still plenty of Locust to fight in addition to the new DeeBee race.
Gears of War 4 launches on Xbox One and PC on October 11. As an added bonus, you can grab all the existing Gears of War games free when you pick up the new one.
