After an earlier leak suggested we’d be getting Firewatch, Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles, Condemned: Criminal Origins and Forza Horizon 2, Xbox has today confirmed the Games with Gold for August and unfortunately it contains none of the above.
We’ll instead be getting Slime Rancher on Xbox One from August 1-31st, Trials Fusion from August 16-September 15. Xbox 360 (and Xbox One) users will be able to get the original Bayonetta from August 1-15 and Red Faction: Armageddon from August 16-August 31st.
It’s a decent lineup of games. The first Bayonetta is great and Trials Fusion is a decent game that many wouldn’t have played, but when you compare it to the former list, it is a little bit disappointing.
