Though it was originally rumoured to release the following week alongside Days Gone, Anthem and others, expecting fans will be relieved to hear that Crackdown 3 will launch worldwide on February 15, 2019.
Being a first-party title it is, of course, coming to Game Pass in full for those making the most of the subscription as it launches on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms.
To compliment this news, we got a glimpse of a brand-new competitive mode called Wrecking Zone which takes advantage of that remarkable environmental destruction we saw in the game’s initial reveal. The mode pits two teams of five against each other inside a neon jungle that looks as though it has been stripped from Tron. Use your super agent skills and weaponry to tear down both your opponents and the ground they walk on.

Being a Play Anywhere title, players can also bring the boom together over cross-play co-op between Windows 10 and Xbox One, so that’s especially neat.
