Announced during the Inside Xbox conference, Void Bastards is said to be a revolutionary strategy-shooter that hopes to test your wit, along with your aim.
It is said to be inspired by BioShock and System Shock 2, which sounds super promising, and is set to launch as a console exclusive for Xbox.
The game tasks you with leading a band of misfit prisoners of the Void Ark through the Sargasso Nebula, navigating derelict vessels and other dangers along the way. The game will feature a lot of the trademarks seen in Void Bastards’ inspiration BioShock with decision making, crafting and supply scavenging all playing a part, though there is also the promise of ship control management so that also sounds like a meaty feature.
Void Bastards will also arrive on Game Pass to coincide with its launch on Xbox One.
