Microsoft’s Adaptive Controller Super Bowl Ad Is A Real Tear Jerker

If there’s one thing the Super Bowl is known for besides the football itself, it’s the wildly creative ads that often crop up throughout the game. At Super Bowl LIII this morning, Microsoft ran a commercial that places the focus on their Adaptive Controller, a wonderful piece of technology that levels the playing field for those who aren’t able-bodied.

Regardless of how you feel about their brand, this is an exceptional stride forward for accessibility in games and Microsoft deserve all the kudos for pumping resources into a worthy project like this.

The advert follows the stories of some inspiring young people who, through the Adaptive Controller, blow past their respective challenges in the gaming space and get back to enjoying playing with their friends. It’s heartwarming.
