We’ve now confirmed with Xbox ANZ that Xbox Series X/S Pre-orders will begin in Australia at 8am AEST on September 22nd.
It’s important to note that retailers may choose to go live at 8am, or can choose to go live at any time after this time, but this is when pre-orders will start to go live on September 22nd.
So far, EB Games has confirmed that their pre-orders will go live at 8am AEST. JB Hi-Fi and other retailers still haven’t confirmed if they’ll also be live at 8am.
Just to refresh your memory, the Xbox Series X will cost $749 and the Xbox Series S will cost $499. Both consoles will release on November 10th.
It’s also worth mentioning that EB Games and JB Hi-Fi have both revealed their pre-order offerings and they’re both wildly different, so it’s worth familiarising yourself with both of them.
