Xbox kicked off its Xbox and Bethesda showcase by showing the first in-game teaser for Starfield, the next big game from Bethesda Game Studios.

Going off of the end frame, it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC and is releasing on November 11, 2022. As expected, it was confirmed that it’ll be launching on Xbox Game Pass.

Although we didn’t get to see a whole lot of the game, Todd Howard did confirm a number of things in the brief that preceded the trailer and in subsequent interviews. Starfield is set three hundred years in the future and is most similar to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in terms of how it’s structured as a game.

They’ve paid particular attention to making the world feel lived-in this time around with several factions in play, including the main one Constellation. Howard also confirmed that, despite rumours, Tom Cruise will not feature in the game.
