Halo Infinite’s New Release Date Looks To Have Leaked

It looks as though we finally have a new release date for Halo Infinite. The game was originally supposed to release in November 2020, but a Microsoft Store listing has suggested that game will release on December 8th, 2021.

This was spotted by a known Xbox leaker and has since been backed up by well-known Xbox commentator Tom Warren.

It’s thought that the release date announcement as well as a new look at the game’s campaign are set to happen at tonight’s Opening Night Live conference, with pre-orders and pre-saves to go live soon after the reveal. The December 8th release date would mean Halo could release in a separate month to both Call Of Duty: Vanguard & Battlefield 2042. Phil Spencer had previously revealed that the team were waiting to see where other game’s fell release-wise before wanting to make their announcement.

It was previously revealed that Halo Infinite would not include campaign co-op and Forge with both set to arrive in the months following.

We’ll let you know once we have 100% confirmation of Halo Infinite’s release date. If it does turn out to be December 8th, it’s one day after Dying Light 2.
