Dolby Vision Is Now Available On Xbox Series X/S With Over 100 Games Supported

Xbox has announced that Dolby Vision is available on Xbox Series X|S as of right not with over 100 games either supported now, or in the very near future. This includes Halo Infinite which will support Dolby Vision at launch.

Dolby Vision is a HDR standard which provides 40x brighter highlights and 10x deeper black levels. It’s available on select 2020/2021 Sony, LG and TCL TVs. Samsung does not support the Dolby Vision standard currently.

Dolby Vision can be turned on using your Xbox Serie X|S. To do so, go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video Modes > Dolby Vision for Gaming.

Interestingly enough, it seems as though Xbox has worked with Dolby to create some kind of Auto HDR Dolby Vision version, which automatically tunes games to work with the Dolby Vision standard.
