We got a brand new Diablo IV class reveal trailer from this morning’s Xbox + Bethesda Showcase, and although it didn’t show boatloads of gameplay, it introduced players to the fifth class, the Necromancer.
The Necromancer’s ability to command the undead opens up a lot of cool new avenues for gameplay.
A second gameplay trailer went into a lot more detail about what to expect from Diablo IV, from its many dungeons to explore, its non-linear progression, and cross-play. Unlike many of the games shown at this morning’s conference, there was no sign that Diablo IV would debut on Xbox Game Pass.
Diablo 4 is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC next year with cross-play and cross-progression. sign-ups for the game’s beta are open now.
