Pentiment

Pentiment Is A Medievil Murder Mystery Game By Obsidian And It’s Coming This Year

This looks great!

Obsidian revealed a third game it’s currently developing, alongside The Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed, on the Xbox + Bethesda showcase this morning. The developer announced Pentiment, which is a medieval detective game created by the director of Fallout: New Vegas, Josh Sawyer.

The game is set in 16th-century Bavaria and takes players on a narrative journey through the eyes of Andreas Maler, an artist during a time of great social unrest. Players will become entangled in a series of murders that span over a quarter of a century. Like in any good detective romp, players can investigate and interrogate townsfolk to draw their own conclusions and create unrest in a town that’ll last for years.

It’s releasing in November for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Cloud on Xbox Game Pass.
