Pentiment’s Soundtrack Is Now On Streaming Platforms And It’s Getting A Vinyl Release Next Year

Obsidian Entertainment has announced that the original soundtrack for the excellent Pentiment is now available to listen on leading music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. The soundtrack is also available to purchase on Steam.

Created in collaboration with Alkemie and featuring Lingua Ignota, the game’s soundtrack is an excellent example of Obsidian’s commitment to the 16th century European vibe and is accompanied here by some excellent art by Benjamin Vierling depicting lead character, Andreas Maler.

That same artwork will also be featured on the cover of the Pentiment soundtrack’s vinyl release, which is set to come sometime next year. Specific retail information hasn’t been announced but we’d expect this one to be pretty limited so we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out.

We gave Pentiment a 9/10 in our review, saying “Although its subject matter might confound and could be too heady for the general audience, Pentiment is a role playing game that has been considered and laboured over to the nth degree.”

Pentiment is available now on Xbox and PC and is included in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
