Microsoft and Telstra have announced that they’re bringing the Xbox All Access service to Australia.
This will allow you to get an Xbox One X or Xbox One S on a monthly payment plan and will allow you to own your console at the end of the payment plan.
It’ll set you back $27 a month for an Xbox One S or $38 for an Xbox One X and you’ll be able to upgrade to the next-gen console when it launches next year. If you decide to cancel your contract, you’ll only need to pay out your remaining hardware repayments.
Included in your package, you’ll get:
- Xbox One console
- Xbox One X Forza Horizon 4 bundle or the Xbox One S Forza Horizon 4 bundle.
- One Xbox Wireless Controller
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership (includes both Live and Gamepass)
Personally, with gaming consoles moving towards a subscription model, this makes a lot of sense and I can’t wait to see pricing for next-gen consoles. I think it’ll be a viable option for a lot of people.
