It’s a very quiet time for gaming right now, and while the typical heavy-hitting AAA games are just a little bit further away, there are a lot of cool and fun experiences to be had in June. It’s an especially good month for Switch owners, with a lot of ports of some genuinely great games too.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

Taking place five years after the first game, Knights of the Old Republic II finally comes to the Switch following the launch of the original game launch on the platform last year.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles

The 3D fighting game based on the hit anime series finally makes the jump to Nintendo Switch this month. It adapts the events from the first season of the series and is from the team who brought us the Naruto video games.

Omori

A turn-based role-playing game in which you explore both a real-world and a surreal dream world to overcome anxiety, depression and trauma. Omori features a distinct art style and even some psychological horror elements.
Fall Guys

Release Date: Tuesday 21st June 2022
Following their acquisition by Epic Games, the team at Mediatonic is finally bringing Fall Guys to other platforms. Now free-to-play and with full crossplay, it’s sure to bring life to the already fun and frenetic battle royale game.
Shadowrun Trilogy

Wreckfest

A spiritual successor of sorts to the FlatOut series, Wreckfest makes the jump to Nintendo Switch and sees players engaging in demolition derbys similar to games like Burnout.
Sonic Origins

The controversial package brings together the first three Sonic The Hedgehog games as well as Sonic CD into a robust package. The games are playable in their original format, as well as new widescreen formats and even modes that remove lives from the proceedings.
Capcom Fighting Collection

A compilation of ten fighting games released during the golden era of fighting. The compilation marks the first time the entire Darkstalkers series has been available outside of Japan, as well as the first ever home console release for Red Earth.
