SEGA has revealed its DLC roadmap plans for the recent Sonic Frontiers, highlighting a fairly large amount of new content coming to the game at no extra cost to players.
The schedule is split into three major updates across 2023, with the first including new challenges, a photo mode and juke box while the second drop will bring new open zone challenges and something called “Sonic’s Birthday”. Lastly the final and most exciting promised update is set to bring in new playable characters and new story content to the game.

We gave Sonic Frontiers a respectable 7.5/10 in our review, saying “It’s not perfect, but it tries its heart out and I come away with warm memories of an uneven game.”
