One of the biggest annoyances about the Nintendo Switch voice chat system (apart from the fact that you have to use a phone to do it) was the fact that as soon as you needed to go to another app or sleep your phone, the voice chat would disconnected.
Well, Nintendo has finally fixed this with version 1.1.0 of the app. You’ll now be able to continue chatting to friends whilst navigating to another app or sleeping your phone.
The update notes are below:
- Voice chat will now continue when other apps are opened
- Voice chat will now continue during sleep mode
Honestly, it’s kind of amazing that this wasn’t the case to begin with, but at least Nintendo has fixed it quite hastily.
