Amazon Has Dropped The Pre-Order Prices For Some Big Upcoming Releases

These deals are hotter than Ifrit, hotter than Hell!

Amazon has come to the pre-order party with a couple of price drops on some big-ticket June releases.

Seemingly matching some sharp pricing at MightyApe, Amazon’s dropped the pre-order prices on both Final Fantasy XVI and the PS5 version of Diablo IV, factoring in the unavoidable shipping charge associated with ordering from MightyApe.

Additionally, while not a drop from a previous price, the pre-order for FromSoftware’s next massive title, Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, on Amazon is significantly cheaper than most other retailers at $74.99 with free shipping.

Final Fantasy XVI will also be available as part of a special PS5 Console Bundle at the game’s launch on June 22nd. Pre-orders for that haven’t opened locally just yet but we’re keeping an eye out for when they do, as well as any other hot pre-order offers.

We went hands-on with the game at the Square Enix office in Tokyo recently, saying “Regardless of the session having a more narrowed focus on combat and Eikonic battles, the two-and-a-bit hours I spent immersing myself in Final Fantasy XVI has painted a reassuringly positive picture. It’s been in good enough hands this whole time that I’ve always felt rather confident in the game to really bring the single-player Final Fantasy experience back into good stead, but knowing what I now know and playing what I played I’m almost certain that this will be the Final Fantasy to truly wow the world once again.”
