Along with announcing their Gears Pop! and Gears Tactics, The Coalition took to the stage at E3 2018 to announce that Gears of War 5 is on the way.
They also revealed that you’ll be playing as Kait Diaz, who was a secondary player in the predecessor that featured Marcus Fenix’s son, J.D. It looks as though this sequel will explore who she is as a character, following on from the revelations at the end of Gears 4.
The game will feature split-screen and online co-op and is said to be the biggest Gears of War world ever put on screen. It’s expected to be available in 2019.
