Nintendo offered some bittersweet news this evening as Animal Crossing: New Horizons was revealed. The game is the first Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch and looks to be your standard Animal Crossing fare.
The trailer showed off the bright and colourful visuals that we’ve come to love from the series. You embark on an ultra-exclusive Nook Inc. Deserted Island Getaway Package, allowing you to make your new life whatever you want it to be. The game seems to feature more crafting – letting you collect resources and tools to create homesteads that you can decorate both inside and out. It sounds great, but some bad news loomed as the trailer ended.
That’s right, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will launch for Nintendo Switch on March 20th, 2020. A little bit later than originally planned.
