When And Where To Watch PlayStation’s TGS Press Conference

PlayStation’s Tokyo Game Show conference is happening today. It always seems to come up out the blue, but it’s always entertaining and surprises us with some left field announcements that we weren’t expecting.

WHEN TO WATCH

PlayStation’s TGS conference is happening in just under two hours. It’s unclear how long it’ll last but one can expect it to last roughly an hour.

  • VIC/NSW/TAS/ACT/QLD – 5:00pm
  • SA/NT – 4:30pm
  • WA – 3:00pm
  • NZ – 7:00pm

WHERE TO WATCH

As the livestream will be taking place in Japanese, the only way to watch is the English livestream which is usually somebody (hilariously) talking over the top of the speakers. Most of the time they struggle to keep up, but that’s half the fun.

You can watch it below:

WHAT TO EXPECT

Honestly, it’s near impossible to tell. TGS has had some epic announcement including the Vita 2 and VITA TV. We also usually set a bunch of Japanese game announcements which are usually pretty large. Whilst PlayStation Experience is only a few months away, it’s likely that we’ll see the next big wave of announcements then.

Last year we saw the announcement of that epic Final Fantasy XV PlayStation 4 and also got a Nioh release date.

Sony has revealed that the below games will all be featured at TGS in some form, so it’s likely that we can expect to see them at least touched on in their conference.

  • Code Vein
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Call of Duty: WWII
  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bulle
  • Dissidia Final Fantasy NT
  • Summer Lesson
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR will be playable as well.

It’s also heavily rumoured that we’ll be seeing Dragon’s Crown make a comeback as well as learn more about Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night, Persona Q2 and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night. It’s also expected we might see a new Catherine game which would be amazing.
