How To Find Hestu And Upgrade Your Inventory In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

SHALAKA!

Despite featuring some incredibly fresh new ideas and mechanics, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom bears a lot of similarities to its predecessor, Breath of the Wild.

One of these is the idea of upgrading Link’s capacity to carry melee weapons, shields and bows by handing in special Korok Seeds – found by discovering hidden Koroks throughout the game world. First though, you’ll need to complete a few steps to establish a working relationship with a very familiar, oversized Korok named Hestu.

How To Upgrade Your Inventory In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

To find Hestu and get started on your Korok Seed-collecting journey, you’ll need to have played enough of the game to be on the surface in Hyrule, at which point you’ll have familiarised yourself with Lookout Landing. Keep going with the main quest line until you unlock the Skyview Towers and head to the one Northwest at Lindor’s Brow. The coordinates you want are around -1700, 1070, 0200.

Just before you reach the tower, you’ll find the big maraca-shaking broccoli himself who will ask for a single Korok seed to get started. If you haven’t found one before now, go exploring and find a few – they’re hidden in plain sight and you’ll get to solve fun little puzzles to lure them out. Once you’ve given Hestu the first seed you’ll get the choice of expanding your weapon, shield or bow capacity. Give him more and you’ll get to choose another.

Once you’ve bagged two upgrades, Hestu will leave this area for good make a tidy spot for himself back at Lookout Landing. Once he’s there you’ll be able to keep trading in Korok Seeds to add more inventory slots. SHALAKA!
