As much as it pains me to say, we all know that the Vita has been a constant struggle for Sony to keep relevant. In further attempts by Sony to push support for the system, it has been announced that Sony plan to bundle the handheld with a copy of Borderlands 2 for $199.99.
“The bundle will include the new slim PS Vita system in black, the first-person role-playing shooter hit Borderlands 2 with six DLC packs, and an 8GB PS Vita memory card – all for $199.99 (MSRP).”, John Koller // VP of Marketing – Home Consoles and Handheld Platforms, SCEA
As sad as it is to admit, all the Vita seems to be good for is just ports of other famous titles, which isn’t bad, but certainly doesn’t live up the console’s real capabilities. Would you be interested in the bundle if it were to make it’s way to Australia?
The bundle is expected to release sometime in spring in the US. You can check out the Playstaion blog post here.
