Kotaku reportedly got their hands on some brand new Assassin’s Creed screenshots overnight. Titled Assassin’s Creed Unity, the newest game in the franchise is to be set in 18th-century Paris. Kotaku apparently received the screens from a source who requested to remain anonymous. You can clearly see The Seine River, Notre Dame among other Paris landmarks. Keep in mind, it appears that these shots are from early in development.
The more interesting thing revealed in this leak is that apparently this is only one of two big budget Assassin’s Creed games to release this year. Assassin’s Creed Unity is apparently set for release on PS4/Xbox One where another Assassin’s Creed game which is possibly titled ‘Commit’ will be released on 360/PS3.
We’d expect confirmation on at least one of these games in the next month or so. Take these with a little bit of scepticism however we’d suspect that they’re legit.
