HTC has announced that the HTC Vive Cosmos is releasing in Australia on October 4th, with pre-orders being open now. It’ll launch for $1,299.
The VIVE Cosmos has a flip-up design that allows gamers to quickly jump between reality and virtual reality without taking too much time out of the experience. It has on-ear headphones and completely redesigned controllers.
The all-new Vive tracking system offers a simplified setup that makes getting into VR faster and easier than ever before, with six camera sensors for wide and accurate inside-out tracking. Cosmos features a 2880 x 1700 combined pixel resolution 88% increase over the original Vive delivering crystal-clear text and graphics. All-new LCD panels reduce the distance between pixels and combined with real RGB displays minimise screen-door effect.
