Summer Game Fest Will Have Four Months Of Game Announcements And Is Put Together By Geoff Keighley

Geoff Keighley has announced Summer Game Fest which will run from May-August (Australia’s Winter) and bring new game announcements, in-game events and game demos.

For those that don’t know, Geoff Keighley is the man behind The Game Awards, Gamescom Opening Night, E3 Judges Week among many, many other top-tier industry events.

Summer Game Fest will basically act as one larger event that brings together events from 2K, Actvision, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Blizzard, Bungie, CD Projekt Red, EA, PlayStation, Private Division, Square Enix, Steam, WarnerBros and XBox.

Noticeable absentees are Nintendo and Ubisoft, but Geoff Keighley has said that this is just phase one, and with the event being four months long, it’s hard to not see these publishers taking part at some point during the event.
