When Is The Witcher Season 3 Coming Out In Australia?

The first part of The Witcher Season 3 is out today at 5PM AEST! The season’s release has been split into two parts, with the first part out today and the rest coming on July 27th. The show’s producers have explained that there’s a gap in the release because they wanted to give viewers some breathing room after a midpoint in the series.

What Is The Witcher Season 3 About?

The official plot summary from Netflix for this season of The Witcher reads, “As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line – or risk losing each other forever.”

How Many Episodes Are In Season 3 Of The Witcher?

The Witcher Season 3 will contain eight episodes in total, with today’s drop containing the first five episodes. The remaining three episodes will be available when part two of the season drops on July 27th. The episode titles are as follows:

Is Henry Cavill In The Witcher Season 3?

This will be the final season of The Witcher to star Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, with the actor announcing his exit from the show and being replaced by Liam Hemsworth as of the fourth season. The Witcher’s producers have claimed that the transition between Geralt actors will be “lore accurate” and “flawless” and will make sense to fans of author Andrzej Sapkowski’s original books.
