Netflix announced a new animated series based on the ever-popular The Witcher franchise over the weekend, titled The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. While that’s exciting in and of itself for fans the cherry on top is that Doug Cockle, voice of Geralt in CD Projekt’s video game series based on the property, will be reprising his role for the series.
Netflix says that Cockle will be joined by a cast that also includes names from its live action The Witcher runs, which saw the departure of Geralt actor Henry Cavill announced just over a year ago in favour of Liam Hemsworth.

Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into an all-out war.”
