Prince Of Persia’s Post-Launch Content Will Include New Story DLC

Along with a bunch of free additions!

After teasing it not long ago, Ubisoft Montpellier has revealed almost the full roadmap of post-launch content coming to its critically-acclaimed 2024 release, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Starting with an update dropping on March 20th that will add a Speedrun Mode, Permadeath Mode and four new outfits for Sargon, two more updates will drop over the coming months that include a Boss Attack Mode, “Divine Trials” containing combat, platform and puzzle challenges and more new outfits along with additional amulets and other gear.

These three updates will all be given to owners of the game for free, but Ubisoft also has at least one bit of paid content up its sleeve with a new Story DLC set to launch at some point later in the year, which it says will contain hours of new content including a brand-new storyline, new environments to explore and new enemies to challenge.

We gave Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown a huge 9/10 in our review, with Steven saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed The Lost Crown. It took me a little under 18 hours to finish the game with quite a bit of exploring off the beaten track along the way – and the next day all I wanted to do was pick the game back up get to more exploring. It’s got compelling exploration, great feeling movement, engaging combat and satisfying puzzles. Genuine innovation in the genre and smartly integrated accessibility features make The Lost Crown a game I heartily recommend.”
