It was only a month ago that ATLUS formally announced its upcoming reissue of Shin Megami Tensei V, which is bringing the 2021 Switch exclusive to more platforms with new and updated content under the name of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, but it’s now revealed that the game will release a full week earlier than initially planned.
The release date for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC has been moved up from June 21st (incidentally, one day after Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC) to Friday, June 14th, 2024.
Pre-orders for the game are available now both physically and digitally, and naturally will all now launch on the earlier date of June 14th. You can get physical pre-orders on Amazon here, or find it across the various digital storefronts here.
As previously revealed, SMTV: Vengeance will hugely expand on the original version of the game, adding an all-new storyline full of new locations and demons, along with enhanced visuals on modern platforms, gameplay improvements and heaps more.
