Whilst the hype surrounding Pokemon GO has lowered significantly, the game is still pulling in some serious money. According to a new report from Newzoo, the game peaked at $16 million dollars per-day in revenue about three weeks after launch. Today, it’s still pulling in about $2 million dollars per day.
If you add this up, you’ll quickly realise that Niantic and The Pokemon Company have earnt over $470 million in revenue after taking away the App Stores cut. The game is still seeinng about 700,000 downloads per day and has seen over 550 million installs in the first 80 days.
Pokemon GO still hasn’t launched in China and South Korea, which are two of the biggest markets for mobile games.
