Atari is trying to bring RollerCoaster Tycoon to the Nintendo Switch. The company posted on Start Engine last night saying that they were trying to get between $10,000 and $1.07 million dollars in funding before they’d bring the game to the Switch.

Atari is promising that the game will be a completely original game that takes full advantage of the Switch’s home and portable capabilities. The issue is that the last Roller Coaster Tycoon game that released on mobile was completely free to play with in-app-purchases.
I must admit, for a company as big as Atari, it’s weird to see them crowdfunding a popular franchise like this.
