A new Digimon game is finally coming to consoles.
Digimon Survive is a brand new game in the series that’s coming to both Nintendo Switch and PS4 in 2019. Not a lot of information has been revealed so far outside of the fact that it’s a SRPG that flicks between 2D and 3D. There also looks to be elements of point and click field investigations. The protagonist is an 8th grader with an Agumon as a partner.
Whilst this doesn’t appear to be the type of Digimon game I’d be interested in (Digimon World on PS1 forever), it’s still great that we’re getting a new game, and one that sounds perfect for the Nintendo Switch.

Digimon Survive
-Conversations have 2D images, also have choices that will change story or even evolutions
-Seems like click&point-style field investigations
-Battles are strategy-style with square grids, has Energy as key factor
