18 Nintendo Switch SKUs have been added to Gamestop’s system in the US. What does this mean? Well, normally before a big dump of new products, Nintendo will provide retailers with placeholder SKUs to load into their system, before they’re changed to the actual products.
The last time this happened was about a week before the E3 Nintendo Direct. We’re only a few weeks away from September, which is normally when Nintendo holds one of their biggest Directs for the year, and it’s been a long, long while since we’ve had one, so it’s looking incredibly likely at this point.
As for what these SKUs actually are, they could be a mixture of games, accessories and new bundles.
Gamestop has added EVEN MORE new Nintendo Switch SKUs, more than the previously found 12. Seems like we're getting closer to news. pic.twitter.com/JDJSmzZ07O
