It’s barely even opened (and no Australia has had the chance to head over), but Nintendo has already confirmed the first expansion for Super Nintendo World in Japan.
The first expansion will be a Donkey Kong themed area, which is set to open in 2024. This has been rumoured, through leaked plans for years, but this announcement comes officially from Nintendo.
They’ve said that the Donkey Kong area will feature a roller coaster, interactive experiences, Donkey Kong themed merchandise and food. Guests will also be able to walk through through the lush jungle where Donkey Kong and his friends live.
