The Japanese Nintendo YouTube channel has posted a huge, six-minute gameplay overview trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus, showing off its battling and RPG mechanics in more detail than we’ve seen to date.
While it’s obviously difficult to understand exactly what’s going in if you don’t speak Japanese, it’s easy to infer from the visual information how some of the game’s new systems will work. The video gives us a look at gameplay in the Hisui region’s towns, Pokémon encounters in the wild and a few of the progression menus and mechanics you’ll use in-game.
You’ll get a look at character customisation and traversal using various Pokemon abilities, character interactions, boss battles and even a Pokédex-style journal to fill up. Check out the trailer below:
