The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase just aired as part of Disney’s D23 celebrations. The showcase gave us some updates on existing and known titles, as well as some brand-new announcements, including Disney Illusion Island.
Illusion Island is a single or multiplayer co-op platformer based in the Mickey and Friends cartoon universe where Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald find themselves exploring the mysterious islands of Monoth. They’ll meet the mischievous inhabitants and use their unique individual skills to help each other to succeed.
The game has a fantastic 2D look, with voice acting from the original Mickey and Friends cast to boot. It looks like a great time and a fantastic game for the family to get around together.

Elsewhere in the showcase, Disney and Marvel also dropped the first teaser for the new Black Panther/Captain America game coming from Skydance New Media.
