Between the gorgeous limited edition Switch OLED Console, Pro Controller and other shiny merch, the litany of amusing and incredible videos on social media and constant chatter amongst friends there’s plenty of ways to join in on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hype right now.
One other way that Nintendo has you covered with is a series of Tears of the Kingdom-themed user icons currently available through the Nintendo Switch Online app on the console, giving fans the chance to redeem their Nintendo Switch Online platinum rewards points on 10 character portraits, five backgrounds and five frames to make the perfect TOTK avatar for their profiles.
The first set is currently available until May 19th, with a second set of new Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom icons to follow from then until May 26th. Each portrait costs 10 platinum reward points while the backgrounds and frames cost five points apiece. Nintendo Switch Online members can find these by heading into the NSO app at the bottom row of their Switch home screen, and tapping Missions & Rewards.
